4Xlounge Power Bars Trading System

Our Power Bars Trading System is probably our most popular Pro Membership tool. The system is very consistent and easy to use. Our Power Bars algorithm is based on a set of 12 custom indicators and data tools. The data is compiled on our servers and then printed as a chart image on our Live Web Charts. Our Power Bars formula uses both fundamental and technical data to analyze the market. This combination of data sources is the key to the Power Bars success and consistency. Unlike most canned trading systems, our Power Bars is able to adapt to current market conditions and provide accurate forecasts for trade entries.

Our Live Web Charts has 4 different Power Bars time frames or intervals. These intervals include; 15 minute, 30 minute, 4 hour and Daily. Each time frame has been optimized for a specific trading system. This specialization is one of the many features that makes our Power Bars so popular among our Pro Members. The Power Bars can be used is a variety of ways. Here is a quick look at each time frame and its relative trading specialization.

15 minute – This system was designed for day traders and short term swing traders. However, some of our scalping Pro Member have reported using this system to find short term trades.
30 minute – This is our most popular Power Bars time frame. Our 30 minute system is perfect for swing traders.
4 hour – This system was designed for long term swing traders and to help our position traders catch entries. The 4 hour system is also perfect for measuring med term trend strength and direction.
Daily – This system was designed specifically for our position traders. The daily system is excellent at reading long term trends and catching “safe” long term entries.

Our Power Bars trading system is made up of 4 basic components. These components work together to filter out and find the best possible trade in each time frame. All 4 components are dependent on each other and tied together, but provide independent analysis. It is kind of like having 4 umpires at a sporting event. All 4 umpires are watching the same game, but each umpire has a different ‘view’ of the surrounding field. Unlike sporting events, all 4 umpires or components must agree before a call is made or in this case; an alert is sent. This way, only the very best trades are identified and entered.

Our Power Bars trading system incorporates order flow data into its algorithm and then blends the technical data into the analysis. This blending is critical in messy or choppy markets.

Power Bars Trade Alert Arrow

The Power Bars trading system alerts the trader with an arrow when a possible trade is setting up. The arrow is generate when a set of criteria has been met. You do not have to do anything until you see an arrow appear on the chart. The Power Bars arrow alert makes it easy to scan the Live Web Charts for new trades that are setting up. The arrow also includes a price label for more accurate reference.

Power Bars Market Meter

The Power Bars Market Meter sits on the very bottom of the chart and reads data from a compilation of data feeds. The data is analyzed and printed on the chart in green and red blocks to represent buying or selling bias. We have Pro Members that use the Market Meter as its own individual trading system. The Market Meter is very easy to understand, but the data is extremely powerful.

Power Lines Fibonacci MA's

As the name suggests, our Power Lines are Moving Averages that use both order flow and fibonacci data to generate the MA algorithm. They work very similar to other trend recognition indicators. The basic idea is if the price action is above the Power Lines, then the market has an upward (long) bias. If the price action is below the Power Lines, then the market has a downward (short) bias.

Power Bars Candles

The Power Bars candles are a combination of more than 7 different indicators and custom data tools. The basic idea is the same as all of the other tools; green = long and red = short. However, since the candles have several indicators running at once, you can end up with a combination of different colors. The combination of colors provides even more market and trend analysis. Solid red or solid green candles indicate the very best trend conditions.
