:( Today was surprised by sudden sell off abt 0900 GMT of GBP/USD.

No major news and this was massive selling by a Dutch bank in minutes. Luckily my stop loss was not hit.So the next question is,should I liquidate my long position at 1.5285 to go short.

I went long at 1.5285 for a short trade. How does the markets take the sudden selloff of any currency? i hope it is just a rare occurence because it bounced off -38.2 retracement.

Hope u can give some insight. Reminds me of the sudden drop in May of Dow Jones.

Deja Vu

Thx

Respectfully

P.S As they say follow the commercial forex traders not the forever bullish small traders

Yeah, the long wick suggests that the buyers are still controlling this pair for now. There are some large bids from 5200 to 5340ish. However, the USD bulls will move again if the Dow drops. I would watch the Dow for heavy selling.
